Complete Refinish was tasked with this project by Twickenham Harlequins Rugby FC to renovate there Scrum Model recognising that only a spray painted finish would give them that original, hard wearing coat.
This project was presented to us 2 days prior to a local rival game, in which the full massive of 14,000 chanting fans required the tradional huddle shot behind this model. Preparation was key to obtaining a durable yet sleek and uniform finish in the colours of the Harlequins quarters.
The model had previously been hand painted in a gloss paint, so all our previous years of experience was neccesary to ensure we were able to seal all areas that may oppose a problem with the top coat.
